Basic Information
2 Shows – 1 Day
All students are required to perform in both shows. No students will be released until the end of each show. Please do not come back stage and try to take your kiddo in the middle of the performance. Respect everyone's hard work by being a great audience member for the whole performance. Doors for Matinee open at 11:30. Doors for Evening open at 3:30. Dancers must check in half an hour before show time.Shows are approx 1.5 hours. We will need volunteers to work back stage and the bake sale.
Tickets
They are available for purchase in the shop. Each family will receive 1 free adult ticket to the show of their choice.
Bake Sale Intermission
Each performance will have a 15 minute intermission for our bake sale. All items are donated and sell for $1. Please plan on donating a little something and have plenty of singles on hand to make things go quickly. Items we have had in the past; Cookies, Cakes, Candy, Chips, Fruit Cups, Juices, Waters, Gatorade. Just keep in mind that everything should be packaged in $1 amounts. Drop off on your way into the theater.
In-between Shows
We are required to vacate the theater in-between shows. Venue will be locked.
Costumes
All costumes must be purchased from Dressed To Groove, next door by 4/25/25.
Costs vary by item but we have done everything we can to keep it as affordable as possible.
Tues 5pm – Wings, long tutu for Giselle & asymmetrical skirt for Midsummer's Night Dream
Tues 6:45 & Thurs 6:15– Short black tutu – We will be making the tutu décor & head pieces
Lyrical/Jazz – A-lined skirt & crinoline

- Pre Ballerinas – Sat 10:30 – All pink tutu dress of your choice with a minimum of 3 tulle layers and the pink sugarplum tiara. Pink shoes, pink tights. Helpers will wear their polka dot tutus.
- Everyone Else – A new black leotard of your choice from the shop next door. Keep the tags on, write your dancers name on it and turn it in to Miss Loren no later that 4/24. We will be decorating them to match our skirts. Shoes and tights need to match. Black shoes, black tights. Pink shoes, pink tights, etc

We present our yearly recital each spring. We alternate yearly between a story ballet where the whole program works together and a gala year where each class performs a dance. Our recitals are performed at Time To Groove in Park Forest at Freedom Hall
