We present our yearly recital each spring. We alternate yearly between our picnic performance, A Dance In The Park, and our theatrical production, Time To Groove.
A Dance In The Park takes place in odd years. It is held in the pavilion at Glaeser Park in Richton Park. It is free to attend. Costume fees are required. We utilize costume items that can be used in class the following year. Leotards, skirts, etc. Each weekly class performs a dance. We encourage our families to set up sun shades, bring chairs, games, food & drinks. Hunker down and enjoy the afternoon. It is a relaxed, informal picnic where we can come together and celebrate our dancers and their families.
Time To Groove takes place in even years. It is held at Freedom Hall in Park Forest. We offer 2 performances on 1 day. Tickets are required to attend and are $20/ea. Costume fees are required. For our theatrical performances we invest in stage costumes. Tutus, sparkles, etc. The full ballet program, all ballet classes, work together on a mini, full length, story ballet. We encourage our families to dress up, bring flowers for your dancers and make it a special day. It is a formal dance performance with all the grandeur of being in the theater.
We host a fundraising bake sale every year at our recital. Donations appreciated.
